The ancient story of Narcissus. To obtain or not to obtain is the question.
Director's StatementYou can't truly love someone else if you don't love yourself. Something to certainly think about.
While this word is used often in today's culture, my version of this ancient story will make you think again and realize self-love and vanity is prevalent all around us daily — with cosmetic surgeries on the rise, mostly by people not even needing it. We surely have to know and realize that all of us can embody a trait of narcissism. It is human nature to look for yourself in someone you want to love.
This ancient story had me doing my most favorite thing of all: experimenting with AI/CGI. I must add, Narcissus was a very enlightening experience for me — I began to find compassion for him.
