Leisa's film production work lives under the Luna Lum umbrella, alongside the LUT packs and color tools she builds for other filmmakers. It's where she directs, writes, and produces her own work.
A hybrid documentary and music video about the moon as Earth's protector — built around the record-setting Artemis II lunar flyby and told across four acts, closing on an original song.
The moon isn't a backdrop in this film. It's the protagonist.
The film opens with a freeze-frame reenactment before moving into real NASA footage from the Artemis II mission, woven together with on-location filming at a pond location alongside a physicist collaborator. It closes with a music video for Leisa's original song, "Scarred Protector," tying the science of the flyby back to the emotional thread that runs through her whole creative universe: the moon as protector, reflector, and quiet witness.
The project is currently in production, working from a complete four-act script.
Luna Lum also publishes cinematic color-grading LUT packs and runs the Lumen Club membership — practical tools built by a working filmmaker, for other filmmakers and colorists.
